Daintree Romancer

We’re excited about our newest Daintree Ecolodge trail, because this 1.4km round-trip walk takes you through all levels of the rainforest. Begin following the creek on the easy-moderate walk. Smell, hear and breathe in the lush rainforest surrounds. Then wander further into the forest under a canopy of King palms. As you meander along, you’ll find an abundance of plant species that are native to the region, including distinctive palms and ferns. Venture up to our solar plant, where you can take a breather and enjoy the seating area to absorb all the wonders of the spectacular Daintree. While this isn’t a strenuous walk, it can be heavier going depending on the weather and it always pays to carry water with you and wear sturdy footwear.
