Each of the eco-luxury rooms (bayans) embrace the rainforest surrounds with an open plan and screened in balconies to ensure you feel as close to nature as possible whilst still being able to enjoy the comforts of a boutique hotel offering.

All stays at Daintree Ecolodge include a gourmet breakfast from an a la carte menu prepared by our team of highly skilled chefs using seasonal produce sourced from the onsite vegetable garden and the surrounding region of Port Douglas.

No TV or Wi-fi in the bayans means you’ll see and hear the rainforest in ways you never have before, creating an unforgettable tropical encounter.

  • Lagoon Bayan

    Treehouse accommodation situated high in the rainforest canopy, with views out to the onsite lagoon and the Jalayamba Restaurant. Our entry level eco friendly accommodation provides one of the best places to stay in the Daintree Rainforest for travellers looking to explore the national park. The Lagoon Bayans have not yet been renovated like the Canopy and Rainforest Bayans but still ensure a relaxing rainforest experience. Perfect for those on the go and wanting to explore the Daintree and surrounds by day.

    As the name suggests the Canopy Bayans are situated high in the canopy and enjoy uninterrupted views of the rainforest. Newly renovated, the rooms feature a spacious bedroom and a screened balcony with daybed to relax and take in the natural surrounds. Access via stairs.
