Dining on delicious regional cuisine is a feature of your Daintree Ecolodge experience. Now you can learn how to create one of our signature dishes for yourself. During our private cooking classes, you will have a choice of 3 different dishes (vegetarian option is available). Our chef will walk you through our vegetable patch, then share the cooking steps and show you how to use native ingredients, like lemon aspen, pepper berry or green ants and lemon myrtle. It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn new skills and enjoy tasting the local flavours of the Daintree. Classes are $80 per person, including enjoying the meal that you cooked for lunch. The private class is available for 2-6 guests. Morning classes operate every second day, subject to availability and bookings are essential.
