Daintree Spa Etiquette

For many of our guests, the Daintree Spa experience will be their first foray into the world of Spa indulgence. We have put together this short guide to Spa Etiquette, which explains what you can expect from your exclusive spa treatment.

 

When will I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointed time, to allow for consultation and to complete your treatment card.

What will I wear?

Arrive showered, wearing your robe and slippers from your bayan. Jewellery and valuables should not be brought to the Daintree Spa.

What will I wear during treatments?

Maintaining your sense of dignity and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us. Please enjoy your spa treatment without clothing. All our qualified therapists are trained to drape correctly to ensure your comfort and privacy.

What if I am late for my appointment?

Arriving late will unfortunately limit the amount of time allocated to your treatment: it will lessen the effectiveness and most importantly your pleasure and enjoyment. As a courtesy to all clients, our spa treatments are completed as scheduled.

What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?

Out of consideration for all guests, a minimum of 12 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your spa treatment. Cancellation or time change within this time will result in a 50% fee being charged. “No show” appointments are charged at the full price of the spa treatment booked.

What if I have a special health consideration?

Please inform your therapist of any health concerns that you may have when completing your treatment card. Our fully qualified therapists will advise on special conditions.

What treatments are available when I am pregnant?

It is very important to notify us at the time of booking if you are pregnant and we will advice the best possible experience for you. Some treatments can be suitably modified for pregnant women. For more information please contact one of our Spa Therapists.

 

It is not advised to consume alcohol before or after your treatment.
